Prof. (Dr.) Gunjan M. Sanjeev is a versatile HE leader driving strategic internationalization initiatives. Her extensive background in establishing educational campuses worldwide, fostering partnerships with esteemed universities and experts, pursuing international accreditations, and creating opportunities for studying abroad enriches Vita Nova's leadership with a wealth of knowledge. An academician with a doctorate in Business Management (Finance), Prof. (Dr.) Gunjan has been associated with several premier institutions during her prolific career. Her extensive background with her endeavours at Amity University, India, included setting up of international campuses for Amity Group, fostering International linkages with top tier Universities and professionals across the world, and seeking International Accreditations alongside creating study abroad opportunities for students. Fully versed with western education, she has also held senior academic leadership roles for top foreign universities-namely, Oxford Brookes University, U.K. and University of Bradford, U.K. at their India operations and has been instrumental in successfully leading QAA visits and validation processes of Business programs for award of UK degrees. She has driven comprehensive internationalization of higher education (HE) for over twenty years travelling extensively across US, UK, France, Ireland, Singapore, and several others across the globe. Adding to that, she was selected for a US Government initiative on “Promoting US India Higher Education Collaboration and Internationalization” Program 2022 supported by US Mission to India. She was also invited to visit Ireland under the Government of Ireland initiative 2022 to explore collaborative linkages with Irish Institutions. Prof. (Dr.) Gunjan has served as the jury for the prestigious EFMD, Belgium, Case Writing Competition 2020 for the "Indian Management Issues and Opportunities category”. She is a leader in internationalization of higher education contributing to The Economic Times (ET Government), India Today, The PIE News (UK) to name a few. She was a speaker at the QS Higher Ed Summit: Americas 2022 and the Editorial Advisor to the ET Government: Special Edition of Education Leadership Summit 2022, an initiative of The Economic Times. Prof. (Dr.) Gunjan has a proven track record in research and editorial work. She was the theme editor to special issues (2010, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2021) of a Scopus- indexed international journal “Worldwide Hospitality and Tourism Themes”, Emerald Publishing, U.K. She has won awards, namely, Outstanding paper award 2013 and the First category award for case study 2011, Emerald Publishing, U.K.; Best paper award, IIM, Lucknow 2005; Award nomination at COSMAR 2005, IISc, Bangalore to name a few. She has also carried out EDPs in the Corporate Finance and Financial Management of Banks, also as visiting faculty of IIM, Ahmedabad, India. Currently serving as an Advisory Board member to the Indo Canada Education Council, she is also associated with international organisations like NAFSA, USA; EAIE Amsterdam; IIE, New York and AIEA, USA.
